I am Carlos Esau (⌒‿⌒)

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.

I am Mexican , currently living in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

My hobbies are:

  • Videogames
  • Eat
  • Write code

I am mostly the funny/stupid member of the social group but I take me time to get there... At first I am always reserved, quiet and fearful but the quiet and reserved slide off me with time, once I feel that I know better my acquaintances I tend to feel like talking and saying stupid thing about games, anime and culture.

I am someone with a very very little few friends so the time I would spend hanging out I spend it learning new stuff, it always makes me feel kind of sad because I really want to learn everything but I can only learn so many things since I am currently at University and it drains my precious free time (T_T).

I really enjoy philosophical and ethical discussions, to be able to hear others opinion's about some specific topics is something I really like, I love to gain knowledge from multiple point of views since it is the most difficult thing to do, to be creative and innovative for yourself is really hard but when I hear others I feel like I am sucking their knowledge, it's great.

I am also someone who really love dark stuff, like dark stories, manga and games, currently my favorite manga/anime by far is Made in Abyss

Technologist in Software Development at CETI

I studied my high school in Centro de Enseñanza Tecnica Industrial where I started my whole developer carrer

2015 - 2019

At that time, I aquired the ability to be a self-taught programmer I liked the feeling of knowing a lot so every school break between school periods I used them all learning, I entered my school website and downloaded the entire study schedule and it's corresponding assignatures and then I searched on the internet about them so when the school break ended I would be completely prepared for whatever the teachers had to throw at me ( ´･･)ﾉ(._.`)

I graduated at 2019 by a project, a really big one for the old me, I struggled a lot because at that time I had about 10 assignatures, I was working on someone else's graduation project (he paid me for it) and my own project, I remember that time as the most stressful I have lived until today.

I am currently studing my Engineer Bachelor

2015 - 2019

The first year was tiring, I was already working as a full-time FrontEnd developer and to be able to attend the univeristy, a full-time univeristy was stressful, my job was at the other side of the city so I had to rush to my school from the job in a 1 hour and 20 minutes ride, everyday.

But then the pandemic arrived and since then I have been working from my home, now as a FullStack developer and I am half-way of finish my carrer, I can't wait,

Since July of 2022, I joined CAPEM Group in their IT/ Programming department, I joined as a backend developer

FrontEnd Developer at ZipVisual 🎉

At the time of writting this, I have been working as a Web Developer on ZipVisual for 2 years now.

Right after I graduated from highschool as a Software Developer Technologist I landed my first job just right here and I have been here until now.

Some of the tasks I attend there are:

  1. Layout development from Design
  2. REST API
  3. Some little customer service where I fix their problems
  4. Maintenance to production-running systems
  5. DB schematics and design
  6. Responsive and interactive websites

And the tools/software I used are:

  1. Figma/Illustrator
  2. Symfony
  3. Vanilla JS
  4. VueJS
  5. React Native w/ Expo
  6. Composer

Some of those works I will be showing here in my portfolio but since those projects are own by ZipVisual first of all I need to get consent to show them here.
